Last Night in Our Home

I can't tell you what a whirlwind this move has been. Seriously though, as it is coming to a close and I am realizing that A- I don't have a home to go to and B- I really like this home I am really sad. I can't believe that someone else will be living in the home that Doug and I built. (Okay we didn't build it, but we picked everything and did some of the design options.) I will miss many things about our first home and then there are things that I will be glad to be rid of. I really hated the swinging doors. Doug called them ghost doors. I will NOT miss those. Here are some of the things I will miss.

Moving... part 2

I really am humbled at how amazing it is to have such great family members. I was stretched so thin, I really didn't think I would be able to get the house read for the walk through that was supposed to happen today. Help just appeared! Thank you from the bottom of my heart to those of you who came to help. I always struggle asking for help so it is nice to have such great family that just knows. I really could not have held myself together without the strength of my mother these last few weeks. I hope that I can be the kind of woman she is someday! I know that is what I am working towards. I just needed to take a moment to reflect how truly blessed I am to have family. Even more I am so grateful for a husband who can put up with my tyrades and tantrums. By the way, sorry for the bean bag. Love to all! I am feeling much better. Thanks again!!!

Moving...

I don't know what I was thinking! I encouraged Doug to sell our house! I am just about ready to break down from trying to put this move together. I love my husband dearly, but he suffers from a bad case of procrastination. I suffer from pack rat syndrome and the two problems are not making this move go well. We have so much stuff! The problem really comes down to no place to move it to! I will be homeless and trying to farm out all my stuff to husband approved locations. (For some reason he doesn't want to take anything to my mother's) I am at the breaking point and see no end in sight!

Thanks for letting me vent... I wish I felt better. But as my mom keeps telling me, "This too shall pass."

Just some fun pictures of my little man...

I love this picture!  I think it is the epitome of
the hot man that I love so much!

I think the face says everything!  I don't think
he likes the tie.

I am playing!  I love my toys!

I would really like to play with your toys!

I am awake!  Would you pick me up?

Camping!

We had so much fun going camping!  We decided to go for an overnight trip.  We went with David, Sheryl and Rockwell to their family's cabin just above Midway.  You wouldn't think going to a cabin would be camping, but there was no power, heat, or water.  Dawson was bundled to the max to make sure he didn't get cold.  Although he tried to stay awake,
the campfire mesmerized him to sleep.  He slowly fell over as we were cooking our campfire treats.  He and Rockwell had their first sleep over.  They shared the bed and were very good cuddling up to each other for warmth and comfort through the night.

Too Tired!

Dawson is such a party animal that he cannot go to sleep until the very last possible moment.  Then once he is asleep, you can do anything and he doesn't care.  This is Dawson on his changing table getting ready to get into jammies.

Dawson is

Boston's Birthday

It is a good thing that we know Daddy is really
good looking.  He was definitely not showing
his really good side here.

Is there a problem?  I think my tummy may
be showing.  I am so "muscular" that my shirt
won't stay down!

Dawson swimming at Boston's birthday party.
Dad, the sun is in my eyes!  How can I think
about sucking in when I don't know where
people are looking?

Tubby Time Times Two!

Dawson just giggles in the tubby!  I can't wait
until we get toys for him.  That will be so cute!

It is always fun to have Daddy give the tubby.
He is really funny, just look at him.  He makes
all kinds of faces at me!

What a fun little buddy!  He makes it really
easy to do a tubby!

First Time Swimming

Dawson got to go swimming for the first time with his cousins Jaxon and Isabella.  We had a lot of fun.  It was really different that his tubby, so he was more mellow.  Grandma was the first to dunk Dawson.  She simply lost her hold of my overactive baby and under he went.  It didn't bug you in the slightest.  You are so much fun, not to mention the hottest baby around a pool.
