So in preparation for Dawson getting his birthday cake, I decided we would practice his artistic abilities with some finger paints.
First I gave him the paper...
Then we got some paint... (I don't think he is liking the feeling of the paint on his hands.)
Finally the artistic side comes out! He is a genius with color usage!
You can see the thoughts racing in his head as to the correct location on the handprint.
And the final decision is...
This is a blast MOM!
He was so cute! We will have to do it again as he did such a good job the first time. I think there still may be paint in places I don't know about, but what do you do?!?

So much fun!! He'll have to teach Gage how to like it and stick his hands in and not just his finger.
Oh my heavens that is so cute. You are such a fun mom to do that with him. Poor Sadie didn't get introduced finger paints until she was 1.5 years old. He is a good little artist.
